On Friday, November 7th, 2025, Emma Sue Sherle signed a Limited Power of Attorney for her brother and specifically called out his right to review and monitor her medical treatments and status. (Emma Sue is signing in the video) She has two middle-aged daughters, and she specifically did not assign that power to them. By Monday morning, the 10th, the daughters had already got Attorney Tom Talley to draft a Revocation of the Power of Attorney. This Revocation had a forged signature and has been proven as such. Associate District Judge Brooke Gatlin dismissed the handwriting analyst without giving her testimony, stating, “Your testimony is not Relevant.” She did not even review or hear her testimony.
The document forgery was signed by a different notary who also signed for Emma Sue. This was accomplished at the Nursing home and unknown to Emma Sue on the 10th. Additionally, the forged document was filed not only in the County of Washita, but also a second county, Kiowa County by JL Bently, the husband of one of the daughters. A Felony!
